Rivendell Retreat Centre

Rivendell Retreat is a place of peace and quiet away from the noise, distractions and pressures of the city, with magnificent views of mountains, forests and seas. Its a sanctuary with a network of trails that offer the opportunity for discovering new intimacy with God while exploring forest paths and the wonders of creation. Located on 6 1/2 acres atop Cates Hill on Bowen Island; a short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay and West Vancouver and hosted by a volunteer Christian community, rooted in the gospel values of Jesus and the practiced traditions of prayer, silence, simplicity and hospitality. Rivendell offers a welcome to small groups and individuals who are seeking spiritual renewal, respite and growth, and is accessible to people with limited resources and special needs.

In the hills above the Mission area of Kelowna is this RETREAT CENTRE, operated under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Nelson. Retreats, spiritual direction, counseling and a peaceful environment are available for individuals and groups who wish to come for their own spiritual growth.
